Mountain Inn was an excellent place to stay while we were in the area for the Lutsen Race.
10.0Beautiful location. Close to the Lutsen race which is why we were there. Wish we had time to try out the sauna village. Room was spotless. Staff was very nice. Popcorn, snores and pantry items were thoughtful. Lots of nice touches.
− AC was a little loud. Mattress was a little firm for my taste. Coat was high. I’ve stayed in many rooms that were just as nice for 1/3 the price.

9.0Nice property in the Lutsen Mountains. Near Lake Superior & numerous trails for hiking, mountain biking, etc. They have a new sauna village which was such a nice surprise. Denton, the spa attendant, was very helpful & kind. There’s an outdoor fire pit, picnic area, and a couple of hammocks. They also provide coffee, tea, popcorn & s’mores kits in the lobby.
− My room smelled very strongly of air freshener upon check-in. I couldn’t find the source, but thankfully I was able to open the window & the scent aired out after a few hours. The walls are thin, so it’s easy to hear your neighbors. Bring ear plugs if you need!
