10.0There is nothing that compares to the Kokkini Porta Rossa. Ultimate in classic luxury accomodations. From the moment you arrive, you are treated with utmost care with quality. Nicko and Angela are the best of the best in their roles as host and care takers of this charming establishment The four course breakfast is an experience in itself. Angela and Nicko go above and beyond to make sure their guest have the best experiences while visiting old town Rhodes. I cant wait to return.
A very special hotel for a very special stay in Rhodes
10.0The is an AMAZING and ANAZINGLY RUN boutique hotel. Ideally located at one of the gates of the old city in Rhodes, with an amazing atmosphere, comfortable rooms and the most fantastic team that makes Kokkini Porta Rosa the very emanation of a boutique hotel. Totally personalized (no, I seriously mean the most personalized experience we ever had in a hotel). The owners Nikos and Angela and Giulia are making sure you get the ultimate out of your stay on the island. They have literally gone every extra mile in any direction to make sure that we get the best possible experience for our stay. Nikos is a treasure of knowledge about the entire island, its history and heritage and all sorts of broader humanitarian and cultural knowledge - he takes time to understand their guests interests and truly knows which places will offer the ultimate experience for what you are looking for. He had provided golden recommendations from sightseeing, guides and excursions, to places to eat and enjoy ourselves. Never before in my long history of visiting hotels I have got such well curated suggestions and practically fully made itinerary. The truth is we didn't get just a room - we got extreme hospitality and curation of our stay. Angela, Nikos' wife and co-owner, is making sure we get pampered in all possible ways - from rich breakfast adapted to our personal preferences to just having a nice afternoon chats. Giulia is also there for you whether it's to provide efficient service or have a nice chat if you feel so. The whole feeling is that you are at home - if not yours by title deed at least at your very hospitable and polite hosts' home. And since the hospitality is so amazing, it's worth mentioning the very cozy rooms - ours was adjacent to the city wall and we had our own small yard.

10.0We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kokkini Porta Rossa. Having travelled for many years and having stayed in many different accommodations throughout the world, the breakfast here was by far the most enjoyable. Superb attention to details, ingredients and presentation as well as being absolutely delicious and nutritious in a wonderful garden setting. The ground floor room with private courtyard met every expectation and was a pleasure to stay in. Overall the attention to detail and the effort made by both hosts and the staff was outstanding. If ever you were to travel to Rhodes you would find no better accommodation.

Simply the best
10.0Our friends recommended that we stay at KPR and basically we had no choice having heard about their amazing experience. We've tracked quite a bit and have stayed at some great places but nothing compares to this. Everything was perfect - the overall ambiance, the gorgeous rooms, the delicious breakfasts and of course, the hosts' remarkable attention to detail and planning. Nikos and Angela and their staff are amazing and we cannot wait to come back. They treat you like family.
