No heat in the middle of winter
4.0They didn't provide transportation to the train like the other hotel we stayed at. We tried to arrange a taxi on our own but the taxi didn't show up. We ended up walking to the train at 7am in 33 degree F weather. Speaking of cold. When we arrived at the hotel at 2pm we discovered there was no heater in the room. It took four trips to the office spread over two hours before they brought a heater. The heater was a propane heater that was almost empty. The instructions said to only use it in a well ventilated area. After about an hour they came and took the propane tank to refill it. While filling it only took about 15 minutes from the propane truck that came to the hotel, they wouldn't let us have the tank back for another hour. Cold temperatures are not unusual in Creel at this time of year. The hotel should provide a safe source of heat for each room. The other hotel we stayed at had a built-in heater in each room. I would not stay here again.
