10.0We liked the location. It was right near the Monterey Hydrobike location. The room was unique. The view from the Sail Away room was magnificent. Our most favorite part! So smart to have huge windows to capture the full effect. Wonderful! The room had everything we needed. Would have been nice to have fridge and microwave in the room. But all of that and more was located in the dining area in the main house. The snacks in the dining area were nice. The outside deck to watch the sunset was wonderful. Very quiet place. Only saw people when we were leaving in the morning. A wonderful place!
− Having digital check in only was a bit weird to us but worked out. Would be good to have a fan in the room. Room gets warm. Also would be good to be able to shower. The shower nozzle in the tub was not a good thing for us. Would have been a nice thing to have fresh fruit available in the dining area.
We stayed in the Captain’s Quarters of this historic building, very comfortable with a nautical theme.

10.0Beautiful location with big windows overlooking the slough. Beautiful sunset and many large seabirds you could see from the room. The nautical theme was very nice.
− The wifi was intermittent. Sometimes it faded out for a short period of time.

2.0I took my girlfriend here for our anniversary, one this place is a scam and double charged me after the stay!! I will be reporting and posting on social media as well. they have no AC at all. Only bath option which isn’t bad but when ur sweating ass cause there’s no ac no one really wants to take a bath. Which isn’t displayed within the details. Worst experience ever

5.0Location. And they tried to make the decorations attractive.
− Extremely overpriced. Also, a strange and ridiculous number of requests for information, warnings about liability, and duplicate requests. Also, the couch was not made up, despite a phone call during which I was assured it would be all ready. And the message about where the linens were was incorrect- we did not find them until the next day. Not fun.
Great stay! My wife and I will return one day.
9.0It was so peaceful and quite! We also had an awesome view of the old Salinas river from our room and a deep soak tub! My wife loved it!
− The running water comes out a bit slow, took over 30 minutes to fill the tub halfway!smh Also, you couldn't smoke outside on the property, even though in their notice states they have a "designated" smoking area, which I thought was the only seating area outside, until I was told by the property mgr/inn keeper that smoking is actually outside the property..? But, that was no big deal, probably a typo on their part.
