It was everything I expected.
8.0clean room - The bed was comfortable. The bathroom sink area was clean and usable. The shower had great water pressure. The room had a coffee maker. The TV was large and easy to use. I loved the old-time setting. It was quaint and interesting. I felt like I was in the fifties. It was quiet and peaceful.
− I didn't care for the low couch. It was hard for me to get up after I seat dowm. The desk chair was low and scarry to set in. There was only one packet of coffee add-ins. The clerk didn't tell us about the coffee kiosk. It had a strange entrance that faced a side street.

− TH TV remote didnt work and the breakfast was pitiful. A pig of vanilla muffin and green banana with strong coffee.. Think the listing should say not handicap friendly.

10.0Parking in the lot is tight for pickups, but doable. Street parking is available. Staff is genuinely kind and helpful.
Quiet, affordable, clean place to stay for 3 nights.
10.0I had a comfortable, spacious room in this older, well kept hotel. Although there were few occupants at the time of my stay, it was quiet. This stay suit my needs.
A fine place to stay when you’re in Taft!
9.0The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a nice sitting area. The location worked well for us; we had a couple of birdwatching locations to visit in the area. It was very quiet and restful. They have beautiful roses in the outdoor spaces! There are good restaurants nearby; we really enjoyed a meal from El Cima.

− When I arrived at my room, there were no bath towels, wash cloths or shower towels. I had to show the receptionist that I wasn't lying since it was just across the hallway from check in.
