Comfortable room with spectacular views and lovely location.
9.0CW kindly contacted us beforehand and offered to upgrade our room. We were moved from the flat to a gorgeous room with a balcony and lovely view. The location is absolutely stunning and the house very grand. We were very comfortable and were welcomed and everything explained on arrival.
− The house, particular the roofs, balcony, swimming pool and entrance fountain all look like they have not had any maintenance, cleaning or paintwork for many years. This venue could be even better if the owner invested in fixing it up and doing some renovations such as new tiling in bathrooms. Breakfast was not served. When I asked, the manager CW, replied that there is no breakfast on a Sunday. We didn't mind but I think communication needs to be clearer in the ad.
Lovely property in a very good location
9.0Great location (they can’t be blamed for the long-term roadworks which they advised in advance and were not a noise problem. Beautiful luxurious building with fantastic view.
− If, like me, you are not a great fan of dogs, the owner’s four dogs were intrusive at times but were more controlled once I complained about being woken during the night. The safe did not work and it sounded as if this had been known for some time. There were a few other minor maintenance matters which could do with a little care and attention.
A stay that feels like being at home in a mansion.
