Great convenient location with plenty of parking. The room was much larger than we were expecting with a sliding door onto a back patio (with its own BBQ) that was decently private, and at the very end of the row. Most guests appeared to use the front to enjoy the sun. The tub was very deep and the gentleman on staff went out of his way to find a tub stopper for us. The linen was fresh and everything was clean. There was a king size bed, which I loved!

− This is only a personal preference due to what works well with my arthritis, but while we loved the size of the bed, we actually did not enjoy how soft it was. For me it was much too soft and didn't provide the proper support that I found I needed. Our bed at home is very firm, which I hated at first, but realized didn't hurt so much when I woke up. Anyways, this is just a personal preference but the general public would love the softness.

− 1 Star – Worst Motel Experience I've Ever Had We arrived at Top Notch Motel at around 2:00 AM on July 18 after a long drive. The biggest problem started immediately. Google Maps directed us to the restaurant, which also serves as the front desk, but it was completely closed with nobody there. We repeatedly tried calling the motel using both the number on Google and the number provided through Booking.com, but no one answered. After about 15 consecutive calls, someone finally picked up and told us he would arrive in 5 minutes. We waited another 20 minutes, called again, and were told he would be there in 2 minutes. He eventually arrived about 10 minutes later. By then, we were exhausted, it was late at night, and there were lots of mosquitoes while we waited outside. To make matters worse, the motel itself is located to the left of the next plaza, making it very confusing to find, especially in the middle of the night. Once we finally got into the room, it was far from clean. The floors were dirty, the areas beside the bed were unclean, and overall the room did not match the expectations set by the photos. The bathroom was acceptable, but the rest of the room clearly had not been cleaned properly. After finally getting some sleep around 5:00 AM, we were suddenly woken up when someone unlocked our room using a spare key and walked in, claiming it was their room. We were shocked and confused. I told them to contact the person who had checked us in because we had been assigned this room. They called the motel staff, who admitted it was their mistake, and the other guests left. However, this is an extremely serious security issue. How can another guest be given a working key to an occupied room? This is completely unacceptable and could have had much more serious consequences. I also have dashcam footage showing people entering our room with a key. When I reported this incident to the front desk, they showed no genuine concern.

Comfortable stay with friendly service

I had a very pleasant stay at Top Notch Motel in Room #10. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit.

− There are a couple of areas where the experience could be improved. Providing bath mats in the bathroom and clean chairs outside of the room would enhance guest comfort and safety. Addressing these small details would make the stay even better.
