5.0We ended up leaving our bag of dirty clothes. Heidi was wonderful about it. She boxed up our things and mailed them to us. Would not except a tip!!! Now that’s what I call first class service!

1.0Proximity to Silver Dollar City. Kitchen, bed, and bathroom seemed clear enough. Liked the large master bath. Bed was comfy enough.
− I was expecting a rustic budget cottage with poor design choices. I was NOT expecting things to be run down so badly that it feels offensive that they are charging money. If one of these things had been broken we would have been fine. But to have ALL of them broken shows they really don’t care about giving the guest a decent experience. The AC didn’t work, the ceiling fan didn’t work in the living room, and most of the screens were severely damaged or nonexistent so we didn’t want to keep windows open. The TV was not easy to use. There were no fire pits though they had been listed as a community amenity. The fans that did work had like a half inch of dust on them that I had to clean before using. There were cobwebs everywhere. I spent a half hour cleaning before we could use the place, which is why I didn’t complain about all of these things on arrival, because they had already broken my trust and I didn’t want to be moved to a different unit with different problems and have to spend my vacation cleaning ANOTHER one of their cottages. The blinds on the windows were paper thin. A ground light shown in at night and the sun bright in the morning so I had to find a way to hang towels over them. Would have been easy for them to just hang curtains. The bathroom blinds didn’t close all the way so it creeped me out at night that someone could see in. The provided pots and pans in the kitchen are all made of very scraped up nonstick surfaces. The cottage (106) was just very disappointing and put a damper on our vacation.
