8.0Let me premise and say that I'm American and I liked this hotel, but my Yucatecan boyfriend did not appreciate it as his taste is more modern. I thought the place was great--I liked the older, historic look with the traditional openness. It rained every day so it was wet throughout but I didn't mind. Overall, the hotel and room were clean. Our room had a balcony overlooking the pool which I saw was cleaned every morning. We had a big room and big bathroom which were nice. Internet was spotty the first couple days on account for rain but we managed. It's located right downtown so lots of walkability to shops and restaurants. Staff was nice. Our only complaint was the parking was a bit of a nightmare. They partner with a lot nearby but the gate was often locked at night so my boyfriend had to make several trips to and from the lot to the hotel to get someone to open the gate. Parking came out to 25 pesos/day. Overall, I enjoyed it and I'm glad I chose it.
