We enjoyed our stay in Santika, and while it is one of the more expensive places we stayed in Indonesia, it was worth th
10.0Very very clean, and provided cleaning service and 4 bottles of water daily. AC and hot water worked well and bed was comfortable. Wonderful buffet breakfast with lots of variety, offering a great chance to try lots of different Indonesia cuisines (both food and drink). Enjoyed the pool during the heat of the day. Lobby was also a place to spread out a little more and relax as needed. Strong, fast wi-fi. Generally quiet; we stayed on a higher floor, so the noise from the street traffic did not bother us. The staff were all very friendly and professional and a joy to see each day. Indomaret and Alfamart close by if you wanted a less expensive, late night drink or snack.
− It is a little far from things, but thankfully Grab’s were plentiful. The street it is on has 4 highly trafficked lanes, so crossing can be treacherous, but we eventually discovered a crosswalk w/ a red light on demand about a block down, which helped.

7.0Le lit est confortable. La chambre est très agréable, mais la salle de bain est petite. Mais équipe de Housekeeping est rapide.
− - La salle de bain est petite. - Le petit déjeuner est varié mais tous les plats chaud sont froid sauf ceux fait à la minute (exemple: nasi goreng, soupe de nouilles). Et le café n'est pas toujours bon, parfois que de l'eau. - La réponse personnelle par WhatsApp est très longue. On est arrivé tard que prévu. Aucune réponse pour savoir la disponibilité de notre chambre ou non. - La distribution de l'eau minérale est limité. Il n'y a pas la distribution de l'eau minérale dans le couloir. Il faut acheter l'eau minérale au supermarché. - Pas assez de restaurants autour d'hotel. Mais proche du supermarché et à la gare. - l'hôtel est bruyant car la saison des vacances. - 4ème étoile mais on est un peu déçu pour notre séjour.

10.0This hotel has been my home away from home for some years - it is very conveniently located close to Airlangga University and Gubeng Station. The area is nice, with convenient shops and cafes nearby and the buzz of Tunjungan Plaza, etc. not too far off. What REALLY makes this hotel stand out though is its staff. To say that everyone working there is always friendly and accommodating is an understatement. I would like to give a special thanks to Mr Irzam in particular: Today, I checked out and went to the airport with not much of a time cushion before my flight. Having arrived there, I discovered that I had forgotten my passport at the Hotel. I am not sure HOW he did it, but Mr Irzam personally raced my passport to the airport in less than 30 minutes and enabled me to take my flight; it was a near miracle. If I wasn't already, Santika Gubeng would have earned themselves a lifelong customer!
