Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend to others to stay there.
10.0The free breakfast was amazing. We loved the setting and all the things available to us, bikes, paddle boards, kayaks, hiking trails, etc.
− We were eager to use the pool, but it was constantly occupied during our visits. Lots of little kids. It would have been nice to have time available for adults only.

7.0Mediocre
− Dinner a huge disappointment.
Beautiful property with great amenities, but certain rooms/cottages could use updates.
7.0The location of Gordon Lodge and their peoperty and common areas are amazing. They have many included activities- you really could stay in the little harbor all day. The breakfast was very good, the best included American breakfast I think I have had.
− We stayed in the small standalone cottage. I expected it to be old, but it needed some TLC. There were soft spots in the floor where you walked, the roof was in disrepair, the AC was very loud, the bed was uncomfortable, and the chairs in the little sitting area were not clean. It was also the only cottage building without blinds to keep the sun at bay. I am not a picky person at all, but for $300+ a night the upkeep should be a bit more obvious. I will definitely stay here again. Maybe would look at a hotel room or hope the little cottage gets the updates it deserves because it was adorable.
It was a last minute stay on are way back to Kansas City. We hope to bring a family reunion there!
10.0Breakfast was good. Really nice people that served the food also. Jen at check in was amazing and so helpful with information. Elyce was also lovely at the Restaurant and had good info too.
− Nothing!

4.0Nice setting on the lake and grounds well kept .
− Room furnishings were old and tired. Bathroom sink and vanity old and made of formica. Room smelled musty. Breakfast was bad
