Great family-owned hotel stay! Would love to be back
9.0Super cozy convenient lodging! The host gave us a very warm welcome (stayed past their office hours to accommodate our check-in and showed us around) and was super helpful during our entire stay. The suite is beautifully decorated and the beds are comfortable. We borrowed beach chairs and a beach umbrella from the host. We also enjoyed the garden, though we didn’t spend too much time there due to our tight travel schedule.
− We saw some ants on the bathroom sink and the bedroom table, though it didn’t bother us very much. The curtains aren’t great for people who would like to sleep in late, but it was helpful to wake us up for our early morning tours. There is some early morning chicken (or other bird) noise, which can be less of a problem when I use my ear plugs. We were a little bit disappointed with the beach, likely because the area is still recovering from the recent Kona storm, but this is not our host’s fault.

10.0We had such a wonderful stay at Nona Lani Cottages. The place felt peaceful, cozy, and full of local charm. One of my favorite parts was waking up to the sound of the rooster and birds. The cottages are comfortable, relaxing, and a perfect place to unwind. I would definitely recommend Nona Lani Cottages to anyone looking for a welcoming and memorable stay.

9.0We stayed in the studio suite, suite C, which might be the hidden gem of the property. It's located to the back of the property, looking right out into the garden and trees they grow the leis from. Very private, quiet, and a great view of sunrise. If you're looking for something more secluded and don't need a full cottage, try to grab suite C! You cannot go wrong anywhere on the property however; the hosts are great and the property is well maintained.
