Perfect location but could do with some improvements
5.0Overall, our stay was average. The biggest positive was the location, which was absolutely perfect – 10/10 and ideal for exploring Split. The shower itself was excellent, there was a large fridge in the room, and the blackout shutters were great for keeping the room dark.
− However, there were several disappointments. We stayed for four nights, but it wasn’t made clear anywhere that there was no housekeeping or turndown service during the stay. We were left with just one teabag and no replenishment of tea, coffee or other essentials. Perhaps this could be made clearer on check in info sent or a note left in the room. Although the shower was powerful, it leaked badly onto the bathroom floor, so we had to use our towels to soak up the water. We requested fresh towels the following day and were told they would be replaced while we were out for the day, but this was forgotten. They eventually arrived around 7pm, which was too late as we already had early evening dinner plans. The bed was comfortable, but one side had broken slats, meaning it creaked loudly every time my husband moved during the night. As the hotel is in the centre of Split, it’s worth being aware that the surrounding cobbled streets are used as a delivery drop-off point. Deliveries started from around 7am each morning, so it could be quite noisy. The rooms were perfectly acceptable but felt dated and would benefit from a refresh, particularly the old carpets and the very noisy air conditioning. Overall, the fantastic location is this hotel’s biggest strength, but a few improvements would make a significant difference.

10.0Zorica was super responsive and helpful, the room is better than the pictures! Amazing location, blackout shades, and the rainfall shower is incredible. 10/10, such a perfect stay!
− Since it’s (conveniently) in old town, the downside is there’s lots of drunk groups loudly singing at night. The windows and blackout shades do a decent job of blocking out the sound, but you can still hear them

− The sensory light did not work. There was no property owner to greet in person, and I felt unsafe as a solo traveler.
