We stayed at OZ Hotels Side Premium Resort for two weeks, and overall we had a very enjoyable holiday. There are plenty of positives, but also a few areas where the hotel could improve. The biggest highlight was the pool area. The pool is huge, with plenty of space and lots of sunbeds. As in most resorts, many guests like to reserve sunbeds early in the morning and disappear for hours, even though the hotel doesn't allow it. However, whenever we asked about finding a sunbed, the staff were very helpful and even brought out extra loungers for us, which was a nice touch. The beach is also beautiful and well maintained, with plenty of sunbeds available. We really enjoyed spending time there, and it was a nice alternative to the pool. Guest Relations deserves special praise. The Moroccan lady and the Ukrainian/Russian lady working there were absolutely fantastic. They helped us with every question or request we had and always did so with a smile. For almost anything you need during your stay, Guest Relations is the place to go. Unfortunately, many of the other staff members around the hotel speak very little English, which sometimes made communication difficult. The food was excellent with a great variety every day. There was something for everyone, and the quality was very good. That said, after staying for two weeks, the menu does become a bit repetitive.

− The biggest disappointment was housekeeping. Although we always turned on the housekeeping button, the room was never cleaned properly. Towels were changed daily, and the minibar was restocked, which we appreciated. However, the bed sheets and bedding were another story. After one week, we had to ask for fresh bedding, and even then only the sheets on one bed were changed. The duvet covers and pillowcases were left unchanged. I don't expect a deep clean every day, but I do expect the floors to be properly mopped, the bedding to be changed at least once during a two-week stay, and the room to feel genuinely clean. Instead, the floors seemed to be lightly wiped with what looked like a dry mop or Swiffer. If you walk barefoot in the room, expect your feet to turn black. The air conditioning inside the room worked very well, but it would have been much more convenient to have a remote control instead of having to walk to the wall every time you wanted to adjust the temperature or turn it on and off. One thing we really missed was air conditioning in the rest of the hotel. The hallways are very warm, and eating lunch or dinner in the main restaurant can become quite uncomfortable because there is no air conditioning. The lobby and reception area are the only places that feel reasonably cool. The pool water was also simply too warm. On most days it felt like 28–30°C, which wasn't very refreshing in the summer heat. Cooler water would make a big difference and provide a much more enjoyable swimming experience. The pool bar could also be improved. It frequently ran out of CO₂, meaning soft drinks and sparkling beverages were often served flat. The bar also seemed understaffed, and there was almost always a queue for drinks during all hours. Overall, we had a lovely holiday thanks to the beautiful pool, lovely beach, great food, and exceptional Guest Relations team.
