10.0Excellent accommodation, food was fresh, thick and juicy kingklip served with baby potatoes and warm vegetables with a delicious dessert thereafter. Breakfast was just as good with fresh baked bread served. Wayne the General manager was an excellent host even played the piano to entertain us. Wayne convinced us to stop at the Warm Waterberg spa 30 km outside of Barrydale, this was THE CHERRY ON TOP OF OUR WONDERFUL CYCLING ADVENTURE.

10.0What a wonderful experience. The Karoo Art Hotel is so beautifully appointed, from the moment you step onto the beautiful black and white tiled verandah with its bespoke Field Chairs and captivating cushion fabrics and then enter the reception you cannot stop gazing around. The hotel is a beautifully curated experience. One finds oneself surrounded by objects d’art, lovely furnishings, wonderful collections of paintings (many of which are available for purchase - a wonderful memento of a very special stay). Around each corner is another to captivate and enjoy - even the restrooms are muralled! Our room was spacious and so comfortable, with a little verandah so one could take tea while admiring the beautiful mountain. The dinner was everything we expected, delicious and served with old world charm. Breakfast was equally delicious. The staff are charming and so helpful. I could write a small essay on how much we loved our stay, but suffice to say it was an experience we wish to have again and the next time will be longer than 1 night.

The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the hotel manager goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a wonderful experience. The hotel is situated in one of South Africa’s most breathtaking arid landscapes, offering stunning scenery and a unique atmosphere. With plenty of activities for both children and couples, it’s an ideal destination for families, romantic getaways, or anyone looking to relax and explore.

10.0What a place!Friendly staff,no issue too big or small that was attended to immediately by hands on Manager Wayne.Unbelievable hospitality led by wonderful human beings in Rick & Sue Mellville. You can never go wrong at the Karoo Art Hotel.
