Fantastic location, average accommodation.

We came to see one of the wonders of the world and it didn't dissapoint but the lodge has placed all its eggs in the location basket. A guest lounge area with a view of the canyon and a fieplace would have been wonderful. The lack of soundproofing between cabins led to a very poor night's sleep. Our three nights were cut to one due to water pipe maintenance which was very disappointing as very little notice was provided.

A good stay

10.0

This was the second time we have stayed at Bright Angel Lodge. The first time was about 15 years ago, it's really all about the location. It really hadn't changed since then. The room was clean and had only a microwave. It wasn't far from the rim of the Grand Canyon and was close to the shuttle. We would stay again if we ever get to go back to the Grand Canyon.

Romantic Canyon Walk

10.0

Winter is th4e perf3ct time to visit the Grand Canyon. It is not as crowded or as hot as the summer. Everyone seemed more relaxed, and the canyon was beautiful with snow!

Awesome!

So awesome to be so close to the canyon. Loved being able to just step outside and be there, made it easier to wake early to watch the sunrise (in pajamas). Only problem we had was parking at night and trying to find our way back, so many elk 😂

Hike the Canyon!

10.0

My friend and I have backpacked the Grand Canyon for 46 years. His sons wanted to share the experience with their girlfriends, so we did a day hike down Bright Angel. We stayed in a cabin at Bright Angel Lodge and it was such a treat to reach the top with our cabin right there! A warm, clean shower a moment away. Next morning we gathered for a wonderful breakfast in the dining room that everyone enjoyed.

Not so Bright Angel

2.0

Sadly this accomodation has monopoly and once here you are their captive audience, to overpay for underwhelming services. Many years of travel with many different types of accomodation, this is the biggest let down in many years, poor quality bed, poor sleep, poor facilities of food choice. No cups in room to make a drink, a small thing in the overall dissapointment of this lodge. Most visitors don't return so perhaps they are not concerned about visitor experience? What a shame to charge so much to come to this amazing location and not meet basic requirements. We did complain that nobody had advised us that kitchen was shut for renovation, no signs in lobby to advise guests, no alternatives, we were just told to go elsewhere in too short a time to meet our planned trip. So no breakfast for us, glad we are not Diabetic! Very poor experience.
