I did read quite a lot of reviews before I booked the place and to my surprise it actually outlived my expectations ! I booked this place for the weekend, it was very easy to commute, took the Neeta Volvo from Mumbai and it just drops you outside at the gate of Saj Resort(you can do the same while departing from here - also the resort staff is very helpful the can assist you with the bookings as well) On reaching the reception the staff was very warm and courteous and immediately took us to our rooms and the room was absolutely FAB(Luxury AC Room) ! Points to be noted - The rooms provided to us were very clean and organised, along with nice and clean washrooms. Room service was up-to the mark, and the food was veg - and sumptuous. They also have an in-house bar which is slightly on the higher-side. The overall property is quite spacious and very well maintained(check the pics attached) I would definitely recommend this place to couples or families or if you just want to take timeout from city life and enjoy a nice peaceful getaway!

Disappointed with the view from the hotel. Excellent food and spa. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

a mismatch in value and faclities

A lot of things claimed on their website are missing. There is no working wi-fi in the rooms, cafe or lobby. Room service is intensely slow. The price and facilities is a mismatch.

Nice Resort with excellent facilities

We had gone to Mahabaleshwar to celebrate our parents Golden Anniversary. The staff had gone out of their way to make our stay memorable. We had ordered for two cakes , both of which were much better than our expectation. We had requested them to arrange a Bon Fire and a Buffet Dinner for us at the lawn. Everything was arranged in no time and they did not charge us anything extra for these. Every day there is a movie and in the evening there is some music program to keep you entertained. The breakfast menu is also excellent an there is a change of menu everyday. ] I will strongly recommend SAJ Resort to all visiting Mahabaleshwar. The Resort Manager and all other staff are very courteous and warm.
