9.0I was travelling and was looking for a place to stay in Klamath Falls but noticed the Golden Eagle Motel was not too far away and had an excellent price point. I had a great stay, check in was fast, the room had a king size bed, nice bedding and a very good-sized refrigerator. Room was very clean, nice sized bathroom and I liked the newer laminate floors. It would make a good home base if one were exploring Crater Lake, Mt. Shasta, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Good, economical stay, close to great birding
10.0I love the Golden Eagle - have stayed many times .. owners are friendly, location for birding in Lower Klamath is excellent.
− The floor wasn’t as clean as it could be, but liveable.
Good value for the price, right next to but not on Route 97.
8.0The motel is conveniently located on Route 97. It is set back from the highway which reduces the noise.
− Not much, there was some improvisation with the curtain fixation which could be improved.
