For a quick overnight stay it was mediocre. There was better options near by. Security was decent even though had a corner room selling drugs throughout the night

Despite the fact that this old-style motel is rated the no, 2 hotel /motel in Brawley, you really have to work to find it on Trip Advisor. What a shame! The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. Ours ( two double beds) had a pretty good size fridge with a separate freezer department and a microwave, so you can shop across the street at the grocery store and nuke yourself a meal. Best of all, for us, is that it's a one- story motel so you can park outside your room and moy have to walk upstairs. I must admit that we liked the fact that there weren't a lot of other travelers here, so it was very quite. But the nice people who own it deserve more business. The only things that keep it from 5 stars are no in-room coffee and no charging ports. But it does have a few washing machines near the office that aren't obviously coin operated. In a couple more days on our road trip, that could be a big plus.

It was a very old building, and the office really showed its age, but inside the room, it was up-to-date and very clean. Did have a spider and one cockroach in the bathroom. Refrigerator and microwave, but no coffee in the room. Big dirt spot where the pool once was and one very old car out front. Strange that there were no cars in the parking lot, then bus dropped off a lot of farm workers. They were very quiet, though, and I had a great night's sleep there.
