10.0Had a wonderful stay. Perfect for a quick night stay before heading to work.

4.0The staff was friendly but from there everything went downhill. Once arriving to the room we found a stinky dilapidated room. I am sure the place was built at least fifty years ago and has never been updated. Between the appearance and the smell of the place my wife and I left. Later we found a very clean comfortable room in an adjacent city. We booked that hotel for two nights. After sleeping at the new hotel the next morning at 8:00am I went back to the Welch Hotel to see if I could get refunded the second night. I was told no even though we didn’t stay there either night. The reason being they couldn’t refund the deposit was because of the Oktoberfest celebrations in LaCrosse. Which makes no sense because there was a shortage of rooms. There is no way that they should be able to command $350 for a two night reservation regardless of the calendar. I fell prey just beware. Matt Johnson

10.0I had a small issue with the TV and a staff member came over right away and fixed the issue within 2-3 min she was very knowledgeable and friendly.Really great place to stay

2.0The bathtub was dirty and stained. Carpet was dirty. Air conditioner ran all night. No ice machine. Sheets were dirty and had holes. No continental breakfast. When we checked in, the office was locked.
