− Couldn't get warm (unseasonably cold weather) No cooktop, just a microwave.
Comfortable and peaceful rural retreat.
10.0On arrival I was warmly welcomed, the lodge was comfortable and warm with everything I needed. Tea, coffee, milk and breakfast food were much appreciated.

10.0We loved log cabin feel and the quiet location and the view and our hosts. We would use this property again.
− Was a little difficult to identify the property in the dark although we did choose the right place. A big sign for us dummies could make it easier. There was a small sign on the gate that we missed initially.
Idyllic cabin, beautiful views, wonderful hosts
9.0The hosts were lovely and so welcoming - thank you for having us! The lodge is in their garden, but far enough down that it's easy to forget! It's bigger than it looks in the photos, and doesn't feel cramped. It's chilly but the electric heater works well and the hosts were kind enough to put electric blankets on the bed, so we were nice and warm. The bed was amazing - I have hip problems and having a comfy bed is a worry when staying away from home, but this bed may actually be the best bed I've ever slept in! There were a couple of spiders, but that's expected in a cabin, and they kept out of the way so no issues there. All in all it was a fantastic stay and my partner and I look forward to staying again sometime!
