Roach Hotel
2.0We spent 1 night because at 11 pm a live roach on the carpet by the bed at 11 pm. We were offered another room but decided to check out at 12:30 am. No weather stripping around the door to the room. Refrigerator didn't work and was switched out. Carpet was dirty. Bathtub anti-slip surface had black mold on the edge over 1 ft long. Stained bath towel. Hair dryer had melted wires. Loose tile at elevator lobby. Musty hallways. Cigarette smoke in elevator. The owner / manager didn't return my call the next day.
Clean and comfortable.
8.0Hotel was clean and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was okay--standard fare for this chain. For the price, it was excellent.
Great experience
10.0I would definitely recommend the Comfort Inn. We recently stayed there for almost 2 weeks due to our home being repaired. The rates were quite reasonable and we could bring our dogs along for a small fee. Our room was spacious and had a kitchenette. The hotel offers a free breakfast, with both hot and cold offerings. They keep it well stocked, even for late risers like me. What sets this hotel apart though is the staff! Everyone there was so pleasant! Melody and Felicia at the front desk make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Our housekeeper, Martha, kept our room clean and made us feel comfortable. The kitchen staff made sure everything was well stocked. You don't find customer service like that any more.
