− The shower was dirty, and the shower curtains had mildew on them.

6.0Very clean, nice location near restaurants and what seemed the heart of town.
− The matress actually had a plastic cover on it. I understand why they do this, but for 2 adults who do not wet the bed it was not acceptable. We could not even remove it. It was a very hot sleep as a result. We could not lay on a cover and use another to cover with because all that is provided is one super thin blanket. It was uncomfortable enough that we left after one night and forfeited our second night and just ate the cost. Also, 2 towels only. No extras. Just kind of chintzy.

8.0Availability of both hot and cold breakfast options.
− Could have benefited from a cold water dispenser.
Other than the breakfast, I will look for a Hampton Inn if ever in Tupelo, Ms again.
3.0The breakfast was excellent for a hotel hot breakfast,and was the highlight of our stay. The woman who prepared and set it up was delightful.
− The refrigerator could have worked initially without the manager having to come to the room to plug it in. The phone never did work.
