Ok for one night stay to see the stunning lake. Be prepared to clean kitchen items before use.
6.0Location is great. Easy walk to the lake with some views from the motel (outside). 2 minute walk to the grocery store and main street for restaurants etc. Linen was clean and beds were comfortable. Was ok for one night stay.
− Poor value for money. The motel rooms are very dated. Kitchen items needed a clean before use. Kitchen sponge was old and used. We used the tea towel to wash dishes as it had been laundered. Shower curtain needs replacing - ?mould or old water marks on the bottom.

Lake Tekapo is surrounded by Alpine mountains which will be extremely cold depending on the weather. We suggest you bring more layers when you are planning to visit Tekapo from April to October. Kindly note that we are not able to cancel the booking due to natural disasters or road closures.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
