− Room quality and tea and coffee making facilities provided were very basic for the price.
Exceptionally disappointing and waist of money!
2.0the manager was good when the door handle didn’t work and was so loose that it took 10 min to get in … she could open door easily either so swapped rooms with me
− apart from reception manager all rest of staff were rude and indifferent, had to wear shoes 100 % of time in my room as the floors were so dirty. Water jug not cleaned, lipstick on it. exceptionally noisy from the nightclub at the Roebuck … music so loud until 1.30 on 2 nights could get no sleep until then. Many guests smoking outside rooms so that smoke comes into yours even with doors closed as bottled properly. Bed uncomfortable and pillows so thin, cheap and old. Bathrooms mould on grout. Walls dirty in rooms. Security gate open all the time. Locals wandering in and out through the night. Check in staff at 7pm did not explain anything re shuttle, restaurant hours etc, only where my room was. Cigarette buts all around accommodation. Fridge in both apartments had siding shelves and needed defrosting. Last night about midnight people outside my room tried to get in and were fighting and and screaming for approx 15 min…. felt very unsafe.
