9.0Great stay in a very clean motel. Added bonus our dog really enjoyed her stay too. Very friendly hosts.

10.0The owner is a lovely man. I have a dog and this place was perfect. Booked the Studio but he gave us a bigger room for the dog. We were at the end so lots of privacy. Thank you for allowing dogs.

8.0Easy to find, great location and close to the city. All three rooms, units 1,2, and 9, good sizeas, lots of space to move around inside, very clean, comfortable beds, thanks for the electric blankets and extra pillows, most appreciated. Also thanks for the fresh towels. Cute bathrooms with the door separating shower from toilet, yes! Good car park spaces. Apperciated the wifi access, fast no problems at all.
− Unit 9's door was tricky to slide open from inside. Could hear voices from Unit 2 but they couldn't hear ours. Road traffic will always be a big one especially if you have the units closest to the main road.

9.0Easy checkin, friendly receptionist, room a good size for three people, very clean, was a bit concerned about the heater but it heated the whole unit sufficiently. The unit was well stocked. Great value for money. Plenty of room for parking. Comfortable beds. Close to town.
− Wasn't a major concern but it was quite noisy being on main road into Whakatane.
