I had worse and definitely had better!
5.0The size of the bed. Nice art work
− Needs a refurb a tad outdated, paint job necessary, bed was nice and spacious but was pretty hard to sleep on. The restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday so we had to hunt around for a meal. Tripped getting into shower not realising there's a pretty high step to get in. Was nervous after reading reviews 😬 wasn't the worse experience and because of the raves about the Restaurant we will definitely try it when we are travelling through again.

6.0The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and quite roomy. It had a nice view also of the river.
− The artesian hot pool was not hot at all, Luke warm actually. We’ve stayed previously where it was lovely and hot. We travelled 6 hours for the reason only of the hot pools, when I asked the manager what the reason was for the colder water (it was July so right in the middle of winter) he was very rude, stated in a unfriendly state that he has no control and that was that. If he had been nicer we would of considered staying again
Dirty, run down, and the main entry door didn’t close properly.

− Unfortunately, this accommodation was extremely disappointing. The room was filthy and very poorly maintained. There were cracks throughout the walls and ceiling, mould and grime around the bathroom fittings, heavy soap scum and staining in the shower, rust on doors and skirting boards, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. To make matters worse, the main entry door didn’t shut properly, which made us feel uncomfortable and raised concerns about security. The property is in desperate need of a thorough deep clean and significant maintenance. It did not resemble the standard we expected, and based on our experience, I would not stay here again or recommend it to others.

8.0Had a nice continental breakfast included in the price. Room was a decent size. It was nice and quiet.
− It is under renovations at the moment and our shower rail was hanging off and only attached on one side. So I was worried it was going to fall when I had a shower but all was ok. A little more attention could be paid to the shower when cleaned. Hopefully once the Reno is finished these issues will be resolved.
