8.0The dining facility was closed for a staff farewell. I don’t begrudge the staff their gathering BUT there should have been disclosure when we booked earlier that afternoon. We would have sought accommodation elsewhere where the facilities we were looking for were actually available.

Comfort inn - amazing stay!
10.0Amazing stay at bishops lodge, amazing room with adjoining room for the kids, very clean and well presented - only issue was hotels.com not passing on our contact information, comfort inn did their best to contact hotels.com to get my details but were unfortunately directed to an American email address. Luckily we showed up before they closed reception and the lady was incredibly welcoming and explained that she was just trying to let us know what to do if we showed up late. I would highly recommend comfort inn bishops lodge to any travellers passing through hay.
