I had a wonderful stay at Oceanside Hotel. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. It’s a family-run hotel, and you can truly feel that warmth and care in every detail. The location is absolutely perfect; it’s so close to Fistral Beach, which made morning and evening walks along the coast incredibly easy and enjoyable. Our room was fantastic, with a beautiful ocean view that made waking up each morning extra special. The bed was incredibly comfy, and there was plenty of space to relax and unwind. The owner, Mrs. H, and the general manager, Emma, were absolutely amazing. They were welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their hands-on approach and genuine hospitality really set this place apart. I also loved how dog-friendly the hotel is. They made such a fuss of our little Cavalier, Lady, and the staff were so lovely and kind to her throughout our stay — it really meant a lot to us. I highly recommend Oceanside Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, friendly, beautifully managed, and dog-friendly place to stay. I can’t wait to return!

Memorable Afternoon

Visited the restaurant for the bottomless afternoon tea. What a great selection of foods, both savoury and sweet treats. Amazing scotch eggs!!! Couldn't finish the platter of food. Staff were incredibly attentive and couldn't fault the service, with a special thanks to Emma for making our wedding anniversary celebration special. The weather outside may have been miserable but inside was warm, friendly and inviting. Definitely would love to come back.

We had a lovely couple of days here, the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble, they really looked after our family and Lola the Lab!

Booked a quadruple room for family wedding. Room in the old attic space therefore had fantastic views over the golf course and sea views to the side from the bedroom and bathroom. Bedroom and bathroom were clean, newly decorated and spacious. Beds weren’t the comfiest but it wasn’t a big deal. Breakfast was included which was freshly cooked to order. Staff members were all very friendly and there wasn’t enough they could do for you, from the reception staff to bar and restaurant staff, they made my whole family feel very welcome. Yes, it’s a very old hotel and yes there are areas of the hotel that are dated and could do with some work but when it comes down to customers service and location it ticked all the boxes!
