Upon arrival at this outdated establishment we were underwhelmed to say the least. The proprietor doesn’t bother to greet his guests, check in was enabled by a text advising of the room number. We were bemused by the proprietor stating that “Sorry but due to the covid still lingering we aren't able to offer room servicing as we need to protect our staff from potential infection and keep the Motel operational and honor future guest bookings” worried about Covid in 2026… 😂 really? Just an excuse to provide as little customer service as possible while charging exorbitant prices. The room itself was tiny, decrepit and in desperate need of repair. At the outrageous price of $410 for 2 nights you can understand our disappointment. The room was so basic it would have been too expensive at $60 a night. The outdoor pool and spa looked amazing on the website, however both the pool and spa were freezing cold on a 26c day, with no ability to turn on the jets in the spa. The sliding glass door to enter the room was extremely heavy with a temperamental lock, the bed lumpy and uncomfortable, the shower was over a tiny hip bath with cracked and aging tiles. Ants and cockroaches were found inside the room. I would not stay here again under any circumstances.

Brilliant budget getaway!

Needed a place to stay while moving house and the Boat Ramp Motel fit the bill. Very reasonably priced, basic but comfortable accommodation and a pool and BBQ area. Very friendly and casual owner. Not a place for a luxurious stay but a for a budget beach getaway, definitely! Centrally located and walking distance to a cafe.

Great location and clean, tidy 1970s motel. Great location. The tub shower base a difficulty for older people.

Only here for 1 night. All ok until around 8.30pm. POWER FAILURE to all of the motel only. Got a brief message from the ppty owner that problem is being attended to. We were in absolute and total darkness as our phones had run out of power and unable to charge. Not able to get light from our phones - 3 phones all together!!!!! Power was out until around 12.30midnight!. No one offered us a candle a torch or anything else despite contacting the owners several times. Understand issues happen but total inaction towards the clients is very unacceptable.
