9.0We stayed in the upstairs spa apartment overlooking the lovely garden. It felt a little like a quaint British cottage. Huge shower, simple kitchenette and a very effective heater to warm up the apartment. Even got a complimentary bag of local coffee. All walkable into town. Had a lovely stay. Thanks Andre!
Amazing property and gardens
10.0On arrival we were greeted by the owner who told us a bit about the gorgeous property. The room was immaculate, the linen was crisp and clean. The outdoor spa was amazing, undercover and away from the elements. The gardens were absolutely beautiful. Local coffee provided, aswell as fresh milk in the fridge. Attention to detail was impeccable. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

10.0An excellent location close to the beach, the Main Street, walking paths and many restaurants. We stayed in the garden spa room which was quiet, secluded and a wee bit quirky. The surrounding gardens were beautiful - old and established. The owners Andre and Ruth are excellent hosts who live on site and respond quickly if you have any questions. They are warm and generous people who have great knowledge about the area. The ‘Castle’ is spacious and welcoming. We certainly hope to return.

10.0Great place to stay! Close to the beach, pubs and town! It was like having your own “little cottage” - Private and very comfortable! Nice deck with a spa bath! It was good to have a fire too! Nice grounds to walk around in. Andre was very friendly and helpful! Would definitely recommend The Castle!

9.0Host was very flexible with checking-in. Exceptionally convenient location. Comfortable bed and sofa. Spa was a bonus. Beautiful garden.
− Lots of stairs - ok for us but not for people with mobility issues. Wifi kept dropping out.
