8.0Convenient location and friendly service. We had a late arrival and found our room was not a twin share; the manager quickly provided an alternative and assisted with our relocation with no fuss. Our room was clean and comfortable.

A cheerful old style friendly welcome
8.0Reception at end of bar within restaurant, most laidback, informal checkin by very friendly male who was watching cricket. Room looks outdated with striped bedspread and wall television so small it was hard to see any detail. Mini bar was well stocked at very reasonable prices, and individual toiletries provided, not just pumps as in many much more expensive hotels. Also more than adequate supply of tea and coffee, also milk, replaced daily. Main gripe was lack of wifi in room, although available in bar area, but as a late night and early morning user, difficulty fitting in. As drive an electric car, when mentioned at checkin, most agreeable to plugging in to room, also offered extension lead if required
