Quiet and peaceful in an idealic setting
10.0We have stayed in the Fern Cottage previously and both are beautiful Secluded and a great spot to just decompress and truly relax

− Breakfast could have included food to cook with eggs if someone would prefer a cooked breakfast. Or some cereals. We had brought our own cereals from home.

10.0The property is beautiful and nestled away in the forests of Mt Dandenong. It was presented perfectly, very clean and with the heating already on when we arrived (as it was a chilly Winter's day!). The kitchen was perfect for an overnight stay, the bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was immaculate and very nicely styled. The fireplace was a perfect way to close off our night and morning at Fern Cottage celebrating our engagement. And the Forest Walk is delightful, a nice 10 to 15 minute stroll where you can hear and see birds as they fly through the treetops and enjoy a specially built, well lit path through this little slice of forest. Overall, a very special place to stay - my fiancee and I intend to come back on our anniversary and stay again, as we loved it that much.

Fern Cottage is exceptional!
10.0The property is stunning! Fern Cottage was exceptional. From the second we walked in to the calm soft music to exploring the stunning features to the place. So calming it feels like a warm hug. The open fire was ready to light with ample wood to keep us toasty warm. The bathroom is beautifully styled and the double shower is a welcomed treat. The spa within the room gives a feeling of luxury. We will definitely return to experience the beauty that is Fern Cottage again.
