− One of the bathrooms had a bad sewerage smell. The lounge was absolutely filthy. The sliding bifold doors are too stuck to open properly.

10.0From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. Parking was effortless, and the property itself is absolutely stunning. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed, each featuring a private deck with a swing chair overlooking the pool—such a peaceful touch. The spa was hands down the best I’ve ever experienced, and the location is perfect for enjoying everything Byron Bay has to offer. What truly sets Azur apart, though, is the exceptional customer service. Alex was very warm, caring, accommodating, and genuinely committed to making your stay special. I can’t recommend Azur highly enough and will definitely be back.

Rude sexist staff- better places to stay
2.0Bed was comfy
− I was extremely disappointed with our stay and will not be returning. This was meant to be a special getaway for my partner's 30th birthday, however the experience fell well below expectations. The customer service was poor from the outset. When I requested additional towels for our two-night stay, the male staff member responded rudely and made what I felt were sexist and patronising comments, stating that "everything costs money, darling." This was inappropriate and left a very negative impression. The cleanliness and maintenance of the property were also unacceptable. The bed frame was dusty, there were black hairs in the bathroom, bird droppings on the outdoor seating, and the outdoor sofa was dirty, damaged and covered in holes, making it unusable. The shower head leaked, the iron leaked water, and there was no bath mat provided. For a two-night stay, only one towel and one pillow per guest were supplied, which was inadequate and uncomfortable. I was also concerned about security. The gates remained open throughout the day and night, and the doors did not appear to lock properly despite access codes being provided. This made the property feel unsafe. Overall, nothing was done to make what was meant to be a milestone birthday weekend feel special. There are far better accommodation options available, and based on this experience, I would not recommend staying here.
