− I was annoyed upon booking in (I had already booked & paid online by Booking .com) that I was charged extra for a downstairs room (nothing about this in original booking.Also I booked an extra night & was charged an extra $45.00 for the extra night this despite the motel being virtually empty both nights.I have stayed at Burkes many times and this has never happened before!

3.0− Bins still full of rubbish from last tennant. Dead cockroaches in room. No hot water in the evening or the morning. Had tow men unlock the door and walk into the room at 11.45
