Stressfull Stay nothing working no one to call to get the things fixed, I WONT BE BACK

− WONT BE BACK, my granddaughter was so scared trying to find the accommodation in the dark, no street lights or road maps on arrival, we told them that I would be late, she said a 10 to 15 minute walk. We had a trolley and 2 bags. I fell over in the dark, and I have a disability, and I told her that, and the ferry ride over to the island at 9 pm was another drama. We were denied the trolley on the ferry, and the treatment from the Captain driver with a disability was devastating, and I reported him to the authorities ⭐☆☆☆☆ Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing accommodation experiences I have had. We advised the property that we would be arriving late and arrived at approximately 11:00 pm, but finding the apartment was extremely difficult in complete darkness, with no signs. There was no map or clear directions provided, and we had to walk unfamiliar streets at night trying to locate the property. Once we finally settled in and unpacked, we discovered multiple issues with the apartment. The washing machine flooded, the TV remote did not work, the air conditioning/heating remote did not work, and the microwave did not work. By the time these problems became apparent, it was around 1:00 am. Moving to another apartment at that hour was not a practical solution. Their response to this, the next day, was that I should have called her at 1 am at the office number ???? Because of our experience and concerns about returning after dark with a disability, a 10-year-old granddaughter, it was not safe to stay for the next night. We informed reception at 7 am the next morning of our concerns, she was fine with the room fund, and we chose not to use the second night of our booking. Then she sent me a message. That request was declined. WHY ?? I can only review my own experience, and unfortunately, it fell well below expectations. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this property based on the service I received and the overall experience.

Very quiet, had everything you need in an apartment. Nice walk from ferry.

− Wifi did not exist. Hot water tank too small for 4 people. Shower head really low.

Nothing

− It was dirty. No amenities. No staff to ask questions. No warning given upon booking you have to cross the ocean to get there!! So much money in barges. Nothing good at all. No wifi. Aircon didn’t work.

It’s on a nice island and reasonably priced

− Was quite outdated, a fair walk up a hill for 4 ladies in our 50’s, tripped over the bathroom entrance, TV was tiny, wasn’t fully cleaned

Quiet, peaceful place to stay.

Clean and well equipped

− Further from the ferry than expected as we were on foot. It says beachfront but the beach is not easily accessible from the property. Would have been great if there were push bikes available to rent.
