7.0My husband and I have stayed at The Grand four times over several years. The location is very central and convenient with secure underground parking.
− The motel is suffering from a lack of maintenance which is affecting the comfort of guests. We occupied Room 35. Although reported to reception that our showerhead had come loose and wouldn't remain upright, nothing was done about it during our 2 night stay. The countertop under our microwave was cracked through and should be replaced. The exhaust fan in the ensuite has a very loud rattle. Our room wasn't available for check in until about 3.30pm because "we were very busy last night". Not a reasonable excuse for incoming guests and indicates a "don't care" attitude on the part of management.
