10.0We had such a lovely stay at Bay of Islands Gateway Motel & Apartments. Julie and Martin are wonderful owner-operators who genuinely care about their guests. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful and very accommodating when our travel arrangements changed. Our apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything our family needed. The location was also perfect and made it easy to explore Paihia and the wider Bay of Islands. The personal service from Julie and Martin really made our stay extra special. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Bay of Islands Gateway Motel & Apartments to anyone visiting the area.

10.0I had such a wonderful stay here and everything truly exceeded my expectations. The accommodation had absolutely everything we needed, and you can really feel how thoughtful and well-prepared everything is. The place was very clean, which made our stay even more comfortable. Julie and Martin were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they gave us so much helpful advice for our trip, which we really appreciated.

9.0Very roomy suite with nice kitchenette. Serviced every day! Owners were extremely helpful with local advice and which island trip to book. We were comfortably holed up for 24 hours during tropical storm so no complaints!!
− Personally found the bed too soft but that is just a preference.
