10.0I've stayed at a few places in Grafton, but I've stayed at the Espana Motel more than once. It's not in Grafton itself but is conveniently located on the old Pacific Highway. It's an old-style motel, but it is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Best of all is the on-site restaurant - once you've arrived there's no need to go out again foraging for food. It's not an extensive menu but the food I had was delicious. Need snacks? There's a petrol station just nearby as well. The manager (or owner?) is very friendly and welcoming.
− If you're looking for a place to stay with lots of bells and whistles, this probably isn't for you. If you don't need bells and whistles and don't mind a stay in an older style motel you can't beat this one.
The place was comfortable but needs a good renovation to bring it up to scratch.
5.0Room was clean and good location.
− There was one power point, not enough to charge 2 phones 2 tablets and a watch. Water pressure in the shower had been reduced so it took twice as long to have a shower and hot water took a long time.
Nice little country motel.
8.0It was a nice place to stay on my drive back to FNQ. The shower was a little small though but it did the job. Beds were comfortable.

10.0The Manager went well and truly out of his way. Above and beyond to get us settled in for a very late arrival. He was super pleasant and polite - despite the obvious inconvenience of our very late arrival.
