− The cost to hire the carts was expensive. Not a concern if travelling with bikes, but the weather was ordinary so the carts were attractive
WEBSITE PHOTOS DO NOT MATCH THE COTTAGE WE BOOKED
6.0The two-bedroom cottage we booked overlooked a mudhole. There was no balcony as advertised but there was an outdoor setting in the carport. The WiFi signal kept dropping out or was non-existent. The dining table in the photograph showed six settings, but there was only a small table with four seats. The lights in the rangehood did not work and the batteries in the Aircon remote were dead. The bunk beds were both singles whereas the photos showed a double with a single on the top, which was one of the reasons we booked the cabin.
Lovely park but one staff member spoiled the experience.
8.0Friendly reception staff. Tidy, flat sites. Clean modern amenities. Only flaw was the one staff member who was extremely rude. We were in the process of reversing onto our site ( experienced caravanners) when the little tourist train came along. The driver insisted that we stop reversing and drive around the park so that he could drive through. We pointed out that we would only take a minute but he insisted saying that " i have guests on board". I pointed out that we were guests too but it made no difference. Very poor attitude. Shouldn't be in charge of anything involving PR. He might have been having a bad day but that's not our problem. It was a very poor welcome.

Perfect staycation!
8.0Very clean and beds are very comfortable, stayed in the motel. The room is big for 4 people. The location is great! Very close to Theme Parks. The room is neatly cleaned daily, nice spot for camping and caravans. Very secured place, pool is awesome. Great for families.
− Would be nice to have another barbeque area closer to the motel so that we don't have to walk far.

Please note that dogs staying at Big4 Gold Coast Holiday Park must be vaccinated with proof of vaccination required on arrival or be sent to stay@gcpark.com.au prior to arrival. Dogs are required to be on a lead and always accompanied. Dogs must not be left unattended in accommodations or sites. Owners are required to clean up after their dog. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog. Any damage or injury caused by the dog is the responsibility of the owner. Dogs are not permitted in the pool areas, inside the Nibbles Cafe and water park areas. Dogs are welcome on the Nibbles Terrace.
Please remember that we love our resident koalas and kangaroos too and we ask you to always respect their habitat by not allowing your dog off leash at any time in the park other than in designated off-leash exercise areas. Failure to comply with our conditions of stay may result in removal of your dog or cancelation of your booking.
Motels
If you're staying in our motel rooms between June and december 2025, there may be some daytime noise disruptions due to nearby works. These are expected to occur between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. We appreciate your understanding and recommend planning any quiet activities outside these hours where possible.
