Exceptional location
7.0It is a beautiful location. The park allows immediate walking at the V wall and up at Wellington Rock. We could also walk to cafes and restaurants. Thankfully weather was good because it would not have been easy to be stuck in a budget cabin in wet weather. The air conditioner was good and the shower was good. The kitchen/ living/ bedroom were adequate for budget accommodation.
− Unfortunately we were placed next to a permanent resident who used a metal cutter or grinder in repairing his deck. Not very peaceful. The bathroom was miniscule but it was a budget cabin. The hair dryer over the toilet nearly fell into the basin several times when accidently (and slightly) bumped. One of the small wardrobes was missing a rod to hang clothes from.
All great except for the height of the door frames.

− Waterfront cabin is not suitable for people over 6 feet, door frames too low.

− We paid for a seaviewroom and there was no seaview at all only lake view. If you pay extra for the seaview you expect just that and there was none
This is our favourite place to stay all of the staff are wonderful. Amazing facilities and a lovely place to stay
