Massively overpriced with sub-par breakfast. Go elsewhere.
3.0The local bushland on the property is lovely, but I’d recommend going elsewhere to experience it.
− The morning we left, the retreat was setting up for a private event, and overnight guests were obviously an afterthought. We were given a windowless table away from the closed-off main dining area. There was no hot food! We were offered cooked eggs, then told minutes later the chef was too busy with the event, and handed cold hard-boiled eggs instead - on a 15-degree morning. Coffee wasn’t included in the paid (!) breakfast either, so three coffees cost us over $20! The staff were curt throughout and didn’t ask for any feedback. For the very high price and the “premium retreat” positioning, being sidelined for a private function is not what you expect. Lovely setting, but the hospitality and breakfast let it down badly.
