The staff were very friendly and help us be setting up a spare cot but perhaps some summer quilts on the beds would be a

Close to town

− There were no quilts on the beds just sheets and a thin blanket in the cupboard and it was freezing

Lovely motel room

This was a regular motel room that had recently been nicely refurbished painted and had stunning views over the water. We liked the laundry facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. We could stay one night, instead of the 2 night minimum others in Lucinda were enforcing. Each room.had a double and a single which suited us. We stayed here the night we finished a 5 day hike on Hinchenbrook. We caught the boat back to Lucinda to.our parked hire car and drove the 60kms up to Cardwell. We had a ground floor, sea view room.

− One room had a loud water hammer noise when the shower was running. No other faults. It was better than expected..
