The views and surrounds are great, but the property needs to be cleaned up.

The location and views are the main attractions of this property.

− Upon arrival, it was clear that the sheets had not been changed from the previous occupants. There was sand all over the bottom sheet and there was no top sheet whatsoever. We had to take the doona cover off and use it as a top sheet. Occupants of any bed are subject to wide temperature variations and if the doona is too hot and there is no top sheet, it ends up being an uncomfortable night of being too hot, then too cold. But, having clean sheets is absolutely essential. In the kitchen, the dishes were all wet and it was clear that they had just been rinsed and put in the cupboard. So, all the dishes, glasses and cutlery had to be washed before we could use them. The frying pan was also greasy and poorly washed. The view from the windows in the house is probably the major selling point of the property, but all of the windows were covered in dirt. We managed to hose down many of them to make the view better, but the hose couldn't reach the main bedroom, so it remained dirty. When you are parking your car in the carport, a thick layer of fish ferns line the entrance area. This is fine, but they are incredibly overgrown, which means your car is heavily scraping up against them every single time you enter and exit the carport. The area needs to be thoroughly pruned, to make access easier. The seats outside were covered with bird poo. This is a fact of life for outside items, but a basic brush and a wipe would have been nice. The curtains in the dining area were covered in dirty finger marks and need to be cleaned. There was a large cobweb hanging across the top of the bathroom entrance door. We just removed it, but it looks sloppy from a basic cleaning perspective. The remote control for the TV doesn't work properly and it took repeated attempts to check the programs etc. A globe was blown on the kitchen ceiling, but we just replaced it with a spare that was in the laundry cupboard.

Everything was neat and tidy. I loved the layout of the place and the surroundings.
