Great location, but very overpriced, dated and in need of many repairs. Generally poor host.

The location was amazing, the villa was very big and outside space was a good size, with lots of space to sit in the shade.

− Really disappointed with this overpriced villa and would not recommend it. Furniture is old and warped, drawers in the wardrobes etc don't open. Floors and bathrooms were clean, but the rest of the villa was dirty, e.g. fridge, kitchen cupboards, light fittings and blinds. Bathrooms dated and baths were rusty, one of the bathroom doors would not close. Cushions on the benching in the kitchen was stained and faded. Pool was dirty, swimming costumes turned green. Not cleaned at all during our first week, had to ask for it to be cleaned during the second week but it was another 3 days before anyone came. Barbecue was too dirty and rusty to use. Air conditioning only in 4 of the 5 bedrooms, none in living room etc. Wifi signal was very weak. Villa is not 'Beachfront' its 10 mins from the beach. Linen and towels provided, but only replaced 3 days before the end of the holiday, after we had to ask. Only 1 hairdryer that did not work. Replaced 2 days after we informed the owner, so had to buy our own. Pool table had a large rip so was unusable. Table tennis paddles were damaged and the net was broken. "Solarium" is a dirty, smelly room which cannot be used. Downstairs bathrooms smelled of drains. Front door lock was faulty, reported but was never fixed. Only one set of keys for 10 people meant we couldn't go out separately. Another exterior door did not lock at all, we locked the shutters and hoped for the best. Kitchen sink was leaking, reported to the owner and were told to use a mop. Was never fixed. There was not enough hot water for 4 bathrooms. Ran out very quickly. Only one sun umbrella as the other was broken. Outdoor furniture is old and in need of repair. Had to buy our own plastic cups to use around the pool. Outdoor shower and sprinklers did not work, grass was brown and dry with dog poo on it. Broken and slippery tiles. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on.

Family holiday in Savanna

Wonderful time at Villa Savanna, great big swimming pool and garden. Loved the tortoise roaming around the garden which was lovely especially first thing in the morning while having breakfast and a coffee. Great location as within walking distance to loads of bars and restaurants. Baby gates at the top and bottom of stairs which gave peace of mind. We had no kettle when we arrived and a leaking tap but these were dealt with straightaway as we could contact the house keeper and no problem was never an issue. Great communication by the owner and house keeper

− The one thing that I didn't like was just how slippery the tiles around the pool got as we had 2 bad slips with the children who were just walking and slipped. Lots of towels around entering and exiting the pool helped and wearing shoes.
