The beds were comfortable, the cabin was clean, and the beach was very close by for easy access! The smell of sealsalt, the tiny little crabs running everywhere, and the beautiful golden hour boasted the beauty this park has to offer. Our neighbors were really friendly and had kids the same age as ours, so they made instant friends. None of my kids wanted to leave when it was time to go home.

− The grounds are a bit worn down and unkempt. My son really wanted to play mini golf, but the course was full of weeds and we found putters but no balls. We really wanted to enjoy the hot tub in the evening, but it closed at 7pm (the sun didn't go down until 10pm) and then it didnt open again until 10am. So I couldn't use it in the cool morning hours or the cool evening hours.. only during the heat of the day.. I also had checked to make sure that the park was dog friendly since we planned to bring our dog. I thought that the cabin I had chosen, Cabin 15, was dog friendly. Then 5 days before our trip, we received an email that many cabins were dog friendly but not the one we had booked. When I arrived we were put in Cabin 13. I had to find somewhere for my dog to go on extremely short notice. There was also promise of a big father's day morning breakfast and we got an email 1 or 2 days before that all events had been canceled due to short staffing. So I felt that even though we spent more money then we normally would we looked forward to several things we couldn't use.

Great location for families to unwind.

Beautiful location and cute cabin

− Our futon wouldn’t go down and we struggled with it. I also had issues with the laundry facility which I’m still waiting on my refund from the third party company who runs it. The lady who was working at the welcome both was great. She tried to help me and when all else failed she had the laundry done by house keeping. Another not so great experience was when we had a staff member scream at us to slow down while we were driving very slowly along the tents (there are a million signs and posters with 5 miles per hour - we get it). He himself was driving double our speed in his golf cart. I found this hypocritical and not the best customer experience. Overall we had a lovely time, the kids had so much fun at the beach, and the staff member working the welcome booth was exceptional.

There was no water , no offer of bottle water or jugs, could flush toilet, and they didn't seem to care.

The campground is pretty outdated, but the beach is great for kids that love to go rock flipping and exploring at low tide. Stayed in a pet friendly cabin. As long as you aren't allergic to dust (I am) and you don't look under furniture (I warned you LOL). It's decent especially with the beach so close by. We completely lost water our last day, but the awesome staff was able to fix it within a couple hours. I have been coming here since I was a kid myself in the 90's. Still one of my favorite campgrounds.
