Needs new mattresses

Ana's was an inexpensive, functional stay. You get what you pay for. It did the job, but the bed was terrible.

Bed and NO breakfast!!...or new sheets/towels

2.0

Horrible. I read the ratings in advance so I was a bit prepared but not prepared enough! No attempt was even made to serve breakfast. I booked in advance but I was informed at check in that breakfast would not be served this weekend because it was so busy. Not much I could do at that point...no other hotels available. There was no adjustment to my price for no breakfast- almost $20 in town for breakfast- Oyster Run Weekend. The bathroom is shared which is not clear on the hotel.com site. My room was not made or fresh linens supplied. The bed is not comfortable.

Not bad, but would rather stay in a motel/hotel

4.0

The pros: The house is clean and located on a quiet street despite being just off the main drag. Comfortable pillows. Firm bed. Large kitchen facility. We were allowed to check in early, which was nice. Parking is ample. The cons: More of a hostel setting. There are 3 shared bathrooms for 8 bedrooms. It's unattended for the most part. You have to check in from a different location, which is a motel a block away. The breakfast consisted of a Costco muffin, a fruit, and a Costco bottled water, which you took with you from the check in location. Because it is an older house, you can hear through the walls into the adjacent bedroom, as well as people walking in the hallways. The WiFi is very weak, at least in room 6. Overall this is suited for people who don't mind a hostel environment where you all share bathrooms and lounge/kitchen area if you're planning to make your own meals. The rooms are clean and the house does have nice updates, especially the bathrooms. It was a bit pricey for not having your own bathroom and very very limited continental breakfast. The location is good if you want to check out the little boutique shops and eats.

Pathetic continental breakfast, no service, would not stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay:)

We were in town for an Arts Festival, and the town was booked solid. This was a great option if you are interested in a communal setting. The room was spotless, the bathrooms were new and super clean. We were able to walk to our event, and were central to a grocery store and many restaurants.

More a boarding house than bed and breakfasr

6.0

I had to go to a different location to check in and pick up the key. When I did, I was informed that the bathrooms are shared. Then I learned that because the owner was busy, she didn't have time to go to Costco to get muffins which would have been the breakfast. So she gave me five dollars off the room. Room was not bad, and reasonably clean, bathrooms were clean but shared. Location is very convenient to downtown Anacortes. But, it certainly was not what I expected from a bed-and-breakfast.
