Low Quality staff with no service mind. No information, no guidance and bad manner for Hotel guests. Check-in and ticket

Nothing!!! The rooms are only on average with poor shower faucet!

− This was the worst experience and really nightmares for us to stay at this hotel. Our family, me and my wife with our 3 children, stayed at this hotel in one Executive Suite room and one double room with two double beds and Ski Park view during Dec 25 to 27 of 2023. The hotel and room decorations were on average but the staff’s qualities were at the lowest rate of Hotel standard. Only a few staffs in the hotel can and willing to speak or communicate in English. Furthermore, most of the staffs were not professional or well trained. We arrived the hotel at noon after the flight from Bangkok, Thailand and via Shanghai for 1 night. We waited for 2 queues before we can reach the front staff. At the front desk, we met “Elina Chi” and had to wait for her to finished the process for nearly 40 minutes!! During the check-in process, we didn’t get any Hotel’s facilities informations nor the ticket to the cable car at the Ski park. (Even the breakfast information, we’d been informed after receive the key card of the double room at 7.30 P.M. by other staff. However, Front counter staffs were unwillingly to answer any queries or give us any further information.) Back to the Check-in counter, after our long time waiting, without any welcome drink, we’d told that the rooms were not ready and we had to come back around 3.00 P.M. Then all of us went to have a lunch at the local restaurant in the Ski Park. Around 3.00 P.M. we came back to found that we could get only the Suit room while another standard room had not finished yet. So, we brought all of our baggages to our room by ourselves, no Porter assisted. I’d seen a staff which may be Porter around there but he only look after many rows of baggages in the lobby waiting for the rooms too!!! We came down around 3.15 P.M. to get the cable car ticket at the ticket counter at B1 floor. At the counter we had to wait again for another 40 minutes to finished the ticketing processes!!!!!

Don’t be fooled by the Westin branding. Classic domestic hotel: looks good from a distance but rooms too hot and too dry, no way to control heating, fixtures and fittings falling apart, horrible smells coming from the plumbing, poor cleanliness, offensively bad coffee etc. Honestly, I suspect it’s no better or worse than the neighbouring hotels, just giving an honest review from a European perspective. Staff were very friendly though, and it’s very close to the ski area. Good restaurants available in a little hamlet about 1.5km south of the ski center.

Dishonest bait and switch

Our prepaid reservation was made on 6/3 on Hotels.Com because other hotels had no rooms. We arrived on 6/11, were told Westin was closed and were asked to stay at cheaper Sheraton next door with the payment we already made to Westin. Everybody in town seemed to know Westin was closed. However, nobody from Westin or Hotel,Com contacted us about this. Even today Hotel.Com still showed that Westin was open for reservation.This was a bait ans switch.

大堂可以沒有員工當直！從來冇見過這樣的酒店！酒店係可以的！但係軟件不足，員工培訓對客人嘅態度冷淡，冇乜親切感！

早班機到，可以提早checkin，非常棒，酒店服務，客房整潔，舒適都非常棒，早餐也很棒，6：30就可以用餐，離滑雪⛷場不遠，可以走路過去，學了幾堂課就可以自己滑雪⛷，仔仔超級喜這裡，非常用心的酒店！下次會再來滑雪⛷歡
