Very friendly hotel.

Our booking inclusive of airport transfer & breakfast, USD 70 for a Deluxe Room (2 pax), on 14 Jun, 16. There was no pick-up for us at Male airport, as per our request. We took airport shuttle to Hullumale, with bus fare of USD 1 / pax /way. Upon arrival at the airport shuttle last stop, we asked the bus driver on hotel direction. The bus driver directed us to the street 100m away from the bus stop. When we walked along the street, we found Relax Cafe (instead of Royal Relax Holiday). We asked for help from the Cafe to ring Royal Relax Holiday twice, but no one pick up the calls. We decided to take a taxi (cost us MVR 35) to reach Royal Relax Holiday. Upon checking, the hotel staff us told their system was down for few days, & somehow miss our airport transfer request. We brought over a box of Malaysia BOH tea to the hotel staff, as an appreciation. As a return, they gave us 2 pieces of oil painted drawing. We then requested for mooring call at 6:30am (local Male time), as we need to be at Male Airport before 8:30am for resort seaplane flight. However, no one called us, & we were lucky to set our own alarm clock on our handphone. Nevertheless, the hotel staff knocked on our door at 07:00am for bf. Upon check-out, the hotel staff asked for USD 75 for room payment. I insisted on USD 70 as per our booking. We were send to airport on time. However, we left our 2 jackets in the room. We were glad the hotel staff arranged to send us on 18 Jun, 16 noon.

Good value for money hotel

Very gud hotel for overnite stay. Stayed fr 2 nights. Freindly owner n very kind staff. Rooms were very clean, however, bit small in size but well furnished. Compact bathrooms. Would definitely visit again.

A clean guesthouse 10 minutes walk from the beach

It is a small "guesthouse" with a few rooms. It was a safe and quiet place. I think this facility is brand new. Staff was friendly but you had to pay a lot extra for wi-fi so I went to a resturant instead. It is a 10 or 15 minutes walk to the Male ferry but there is alos a bus stop outside the Hotel. The area just outside the hotel is not nice at all. I walked to the beach on the eastern side of the island, it is a nice beach. If you go to Maldives, do not spend to much time on this island, it is so artifificial, spend more time at Maafushi instead.

Bon endroit pour un court séjour ou un day use

Nous avions un vol de nuit après notre séjour idyllique aux Maldives. Cet hôtel était parfait et à proximité de l'aéroport. Le personnel est serviable et très agréable. La chambre est grande et propre. Rapide et wifi gratuit. Un très bon compromis.
