We will definitely be back to stay at the Basalt Mountain Inn
10.0Breakfast got us off to a great start with several options to choose from. Location is exceptional! We literally pulled into the Inn's parking lot and had immediate walking access to many outstanding restaurant choices, shops, parks, etc.- all in the quiet and cozy comfort of this historic town. We also had riverside access to both Roaring Forks and Frying Pan rivers which was a huge plus for our family.

Excellent stay, well managed, great breakfast, comfortable and roomy suite.
8.0Breakfast was quite good with eggs, chicken sausage, and waffles. The location in Basalt is excellent for exploring the mountain town.
− Sheets could stand to be replaced.
I would stay here again. It is easy walking distance to almost everything in Basalt.

Great location and clean but room didn’t feel quite worth the money.

− The foldout bed was very uncomfortable. The 90 degree angle of the couch cushions was not comfortable for sitting. The body wash provided felt harsh and appeared to be Joy dish soap. It would be nice to have some toppings for oatmeal or plain yogurt in the breakfast spread.
